Overview:

The Batiste Project is seeking passionate and dedicated lab assistants to join our volunteer team and support our mission! This role is perfect for the students who want to be more involved!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Lab Set-Up: 

  • Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, materials, and experiments before scheduled sessions
     

• Student Registration and Check In:

  • Attend the scheduled classes and help students get registered and sign in.
     

• Classroom Support Facilitate labs:

  • Facilitate labs and ensure student devices are connected and class is flowing seamlessly.  Guide students through projects, challenges, simulations, lab scenarios and provide assistance and encouragement.
     

• Promote Enthusiasm: 

  • Encourage teamwork and creativity among students as they work through class.

Qualifications:

• You have already attended a class and are familiar with the process and what students might need.
   

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating and empowering underserved youth in cybersecurity and technology.
