With a career history of Property Management and Small Business Sales for a top-tier credit card company, LaTrice Nervis never imagined that she would be on the board of a non-profit that aims to bridge the gap in the technology field for underserved youth! During her recent past, LaTrice has had the opportunity to be more hands-on with her children’s school life, which lead her to many volunteer opportunities. She has explored the amazing parent engagement events through Irving ISD and volunteers at her children’s high school parent center.  That led her to an invitation to participate in the city’s Bond Committee, giving her the opportunity to dissect the needs of a school district that has not brought a bond to the voter in many years. With the Batiste Project, LaTrice has an opportunity to marry her new insights of the needs of high school students in underserved areas and her administrative and sales background to serve as the Chief Operating Officer.
